RealHack - Inter-University Hackathon

Realhack is a flagship hackathon organized by the Software Engineering Students’ Association of the University of Kelaniya, in collaboration with the IEEE Student Branch. The inaugural event, Realhack 1.0, was launched in 2018 and continued its success with Realhack 2.0 in 2019.

Building on this strong foundation, Realhack 3.0 was held in 2022, attracting greater attention with its impactful themes and demanding challenges. The momentum grew further in 2023 with Realhack 4.0, which introduced a new level of creativity and participant engagement.

In 2024, Realhack 5.0 marked another significant milestone, bringing together talented innovators from across the country. This edition further strengthened the hackathon’s reputation as a platform for collaboration, innovation, and the development of cutting-edge solutions in an ever-evolving technological landscape.
