I am a Lecturer with interests in Information Retrieval, Machine Learning and Human-Computer Interaction. I teach a range of software engineering modules, including database design and development, HCI-related modules and professional practices.
My teaching approach emphasises hands-on learning, critical thinking and real-world practical examples, ensuring that students gain both theoretical understanding and practical, industry-relevant experience. I aim to prepare students for diverse career paths in the field of software engineering by helping them apply concepts effectively in real-world contexts.
